I just purchased a used 2019 F150 from Clay Cooley Chevrolet, Dallas. My salesperson was Sheddrick Watson. They/he made the buying process quick and easy, providing professional and friendly service. What I appreciated most was transparent pricing. Instead of bringing me pages and pages of contract papers with numbers shifting around in a shell game and rounds of ‘speaking with the manager’, like I’ve experienced with many dealerships in the past, a one-pager was brought out with the line items of cost clearly delineated. We came to an agreement on price, what I’d like included/excluded. Including the test drive, working with sales and then finance, I was there for just over an hour. A+

However, I was disappointed that the dealership only gave me one key with my purchase instead of trying to buy another one son’s have the standard two keys with a 2025. Also, the dealership wasn’t diligent enough in setting my phone up with my vehicle. I had to go to another dealership in Burleson to get a global reset in order to have my phone installed.

Early Monday I received a call that the vehicle I wanted was delivered and drove away in it Monday evening. I am writing to formally express my complete dissatisfaction with the service experience I recently had. I brought my Silverado for maintenance. As a loyal customer, I have always chosen Chevy vehicles and entrusted your dealerships with my vehicle maintenance. However, my most recent experience has left me frustrated and disappointed. On December 18th, I brought my Silverado in because the fan was running even after the engine was off. I was informed that the vehicle required a cooling service system and other services, totaling $2,400. The repairs were completed, and I left trusting that my truck was in good condition. However, a few days later, the check engine light came on. I called Matthew, the advisor who initially helped me, and inquired about the $239 diagnostic test fee. He assured me that, since I had just been in for maintenance, he could check the issue without an additional charge. When I brought the truck back, Matthew was unavailable, so Edwin assisted me. I explained my previous conversation with Matthew, but it seemed irrelevant. Edwin ran a test code that flagged the battery and oil sensor but said a more thorough diagnosis would be conducted. I received a statement of work a few hours later, estimating nearly $14,000 in repairs, with most recommendations marked as critical. When I called to question why none of these issues were flagged during my recent maintenance visit, I was told that “things can just happen.” On January 7th, I spoke with Josh, who said he would contact GM to see if any relief could be provided, as I have consistently followed maintenance recommendations and worked with Chevy dealerships. I waited eight days with no follow-up and had to call back myself. When I spoke to Josh again, it seemed he had forgotten my situation entirely. He called back later to inform me that no relief from GM was available. Frustrated, I asked if the $230 diagnostic fee could be waived if I replaced the battery, one of the flagged issues. Josh said he would call me back the next morning. It has now been 4 days without a response. As a loyal Chevrolet customer who has owned multiple vehicles and always prioritized dealership maintenance, this experience has left me feeling undervalued and disheartened. The lack of follow-up, conflicting information, exorbitant repair estimates, and overall poor communication have solidified my decision to no longer be a Chevy customer nor recommend to anyone. While I understand that vehicles require maintenance and repairs, the inefficiency and inconsistency I experienced during this process are unacceptable. Not to mention, a simple service like washing my vehicle was not even provided after picking up my car and paying the diagnostic fee. This situation has irreparably damaged my trust in the Chevrolet brand.

I had a very bad salesperson, Alex. We made and interned deal we picked our truck drove 10 hours to signed and buy it and when we get there the it was a different truck. The only thing the salesman had to say was Oops I drop the ball, that other truck just sold 2 days ago, you want this one? Very bad service i wouldn’t recommend this dealership to anyone there’s plenty of dealership to choose from to deal with unnecessary headaches and disappointments.
